How do I add a property?
Click Add Property and follow the wizard. Start typing the address and pick it from the suggestions - the app then looks up public data about the home (bedrooms, bathrooms, size, an estimated value and rent) and fills in what it can automatically.
The first screen offers to read your closing, lease, or mortgage documents to fill in details for you. That upload is optional - choose Skip & Search Address to continue without any documents.
Choose a suggested address yourself, or enter it manually with a city, U.S. state and ZIP code. New or changed addresses need all of these details before you continue or save. The app never chooses the first suggestion for you. You can still edit an older property without changing its saved address, and later lookups preserve your entered location details.
The optional Escrow step lets you review property tax years and insurance policies after Mortgage. Public tax history shows its year and source; check the amount and dates before using it. You can skip Escrow and add documents later from Property Details → Upload without changing the mortgage amounts you entered. If you include Escrow records, the property and its mortgage setup save first. You then review and confirm each cost preview separately. A retry keeps the same property and completed records. If you finish later, already uploaded originals stay on the property; keep any files the screen says have not been saved yet.
If the address is a duplex or a building, the wizard asks whether you own one unit or the whole building, so the property is set up the right way from the start.
