When our Terms change
If we make a material change to the Terms of Service, a notice appears at the top of your dashboard on the web and in the app. It names the date the change took effect, lists what changed section by section, and links to the full Terms. We may also email the address on your account.
Choosing Got it only hides the notice. It does not accept, decline, or change anything - continuing to use PropertyFolio after the effective date is what the Terms treat as acceptance, as Section 15 explains. You can read the current Terms at any time from the Terms link in the footer or at property-folio.com/terms.
The August 2026 change added a returned-payment fee: when a tenant pays by bank transfer and their bank returns it unpaid, the flat fee our processor charges us is charged to you at cost. It applies only if you accepted the payment terms shown during payment setup, and your lease can let you recover it from the tenant.
