How do I moderate community comments and reports?
Every tenant accepts the community guidelines once before their first comment. The guidelines are shown in the app and name support@property-folio.com as the contact for moderation questions, with reports reviewed within 24 hours. You can turn comments off for a page or for a single post, and you can reply to comments yourself.
You can hide, unhide, or remove any tenant comment on your pages. Hiding is reversible and the author still sees their own comment marked as hidden; removing a comment cannot be undone. Every hide, removal, suspension, and report decision is written to the page's moderation log, which cannot be edited or deleted.
Tenants can report a post or a comment with a reason. A comment that collects three open reports is hidden automatically until you review it, and a comment that trips the built-in language filter is hidden the moment it is posted. Every report and every automatic hide notifies the page owner and the managers who moderate that page; open reports are listed on the page, where you mark each one actioned or dismissed.
If a tenant keeps breaking the rules, suspend them on that page for 24 hours, 3 days, 7 days, or indefinitely. A suspended tenant can still read the page but cannot react or comment until the suspension ends or you lift it.
Tenants can also block another tenant. A block is private: it hides that person's comments from the tenant who blocked them, nobody else is affected, and the blocked tenant is never told. Separately, PropertyFolio can suspend an entire page in response to an abuse report; while a page is suspended nobody can post, comment, or react on it, but its history stays readable.
